Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Wednesday 18th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Wednesday 18th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Thursday 2nd January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

My Mum's sister and her husband, in the late 50s, took up residence in the Vicarage on the corner of Church Street and Fitizalan Road ( now Claridge House Retirement home. ) His name was Rev Phillip Barry, and Rosemary ( Mum's sister ) his wife, they had three children, very sadly a forth child died aged three and a half with thalidomide caused issues in 1963. I remember going to Littlehampton for a days outing with the Sunday school in teh late 1950's. I remember there were rides and also in particular a bingo place where I won 6 water glasses with coloured frosting around the edges. Now I wonder if it was Butlins. I didn't know Butlins had a camp there?
I was born in Littlehampton in 1950. My Grandad had a grocers shop in Maxwell Road and my Father had a green grocer / sweet shop in Church Street,next to the Palladium cinema. both shops were called Bere & Son. I went to Connaught Rd junior school and Maud Allan for girls. I would love to get in contact with people I went to school with, left Littlehampton in 1965 . My name was Jennifer Bere. We came to Littlehampton in the Summers of 1957-61. We stayed at Mrs Squires B n B in Albert Road. I spent my time either on the beach, the fun fair or just walking around the town (I was about 8 years old at the time). My dad and I played on the Putting Green/Crazy Golf on West Green, when did this close?. I remember a speedboat called Miss Littlehampton and a severe gale one night which almost blew the Helter ...see more
