Memories Of A Convalescent Home

A Memory of Herne Bay.

I am interested about a children's convalescent home called, 'Birds Nest and Grange House, 41 Brunswick Square, Herne Bay, Kent.
In about 1958/59 as an 8 or 9 year old, my 10 year old sister, (May) and I were sent from London to a seaside convalescent home after recovering from an operation. Over the years my memory has become somewhat hazy as to where the convalescent home was until I found this address on a website. I went onto Google Earth and instantly recognised the terraced houses and the location, however, there is no number 41 in the square but I suspect that we were staying in one of the family houses in the lower numbers. The area hasn't changed much but there are now retirement flats built in the centre of the square.
There were only about 8 or 9 children present at the time but I do remember us all walking the short distances to either the beach or to the Park to play. We had such a happy time there so I would be grateful if anybody might remember this home or even have some details about the history and family who ran it. Also, the address seems to suggest two houses at Brunswick Square but I maybe wrong.
All the best,
Alfie
