Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Wednesday 18th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Wednesday 18th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Thursday 2nd January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

While sorting through some old photographs from the 1950s when I was in England and Europe with two girlfriends from Western Australia, some of the Southlands school were among them. I was at Hillside in JAN 67 - my daughter was born at the end of Feb - I remember sharing a room with two Carol’s - would love to know where they are now.
I went to Southlands as a day girl and have many happy memories of walking around the gardens during break chatting to friends Di, Dinks, Anita and Helen were members of my class. Miss Panter was Headmistress, Miss bowen our maths mistress. I think back on that time as a good time of my life.i used to go riding on a Wednesday afternoon, old Captain Younghusband used to fetch us from school . Paddy Presant was my name.
I attended this school as a weekly border in about 1960-61. At the time Helen Shapiro's first record was number one in the hit parade and Lilian Bailey was out head girl. The school was in a rambling old house and in the evening we spent a lot of time on the common room floor playing 'jacks' on the shiny Lino, an ideal surface for scooping up the little jacks before catching the small ...see more
