East Meon, Church Street c.1965

More about this scene
Looking north to the church a sense of nostalgia is created by the old style 'T' junction road sign. Every spring the churchyard is full of golden daffodils, bringing visitors from far and near. The Ye Old George Inn sign depicting St George slaying the dragon, would do credit to any ancient town in Austria or Germany. Opposite is C P Smith's post office stores.
