Eustace Street School

A Memory of Chadderton.

I would like to point out that the old school ,both Infant and Junior, are still standing, as yet .They are both in a sad state of repair. I too, have some real vivid memories, some happy and some, not so. I attended Eustace Street School from 56 - 61. I remember my first day at the school too.

One of my best friends from North Chadderton Secondary Modern School on Broadway (just down from the Chaddy Arms) attended Eustace Street School. He was Alan Travis. Alan (b.1953) sadly passed away a number of years ago. I still regularly think of him. RIP 'Chaz'.

Les Crocker: Your name sounds very famliar. I think you were in the same age group as my brother, Jeff Cooper.
