This is now a pedestrian precinct. We can see the Midland (HSBC) Bank to the front right and the National Provincial (NatWest) to the far left. The market hall also serves as a convenient road sign, indicating Grimsby to the left and Skegness to the right. This indicates that the correct speed of traffic, as much as on keen eyesight, was needed to turn the right way.

Teenage Years.
I went to Brigg Grammar from 1947 until 1951. I then worked at Peacock & Binningtons until I emigrated to Canada in 1956. I have fond memories of Brigg, often fishing in the Ancholme, cycling to Cleethorpes and looking for sticklebacks and frogspawn in swales. Paul Brighton

Hi, I was at glanford, Started 61 , Still makes me sit up wen i here the name frank woodcock, Was into boxing with my best mate tomo who lost his life wen he was 14 , God bless him, colin from wrawby

I Attnended Brigg High In 1949 I Think And Wonder If Anyone Has Contact With Others Of This Time.
I wonder if anyone has contact with others of this time. Jean Mumby, Dot Pinder. we were all cricket fans of Denis Compton, Bill Edrich etc. love to hear from anyone still alive. regards Joan nee Shearsmith

Glanford School.
Who remembers Frank Woodcock at Glanford School,he could keep things in order with his strong arm tactics,I left school in 1961 anyone remembers me,?.

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
