More about this scene
An elegant lamp standard adorns the zebra crossing in front of the Town Hall, and hanging baskets brighten the stonework. The shops on the right are on the site of the Piccadilly shops built by Edmund Hepple using the compensation for loss of use of his corn mill during the building of the railway viaduct.
