- Cockermouth, Main Street 1906
This fine clock tower was a major landmark of Cockermouth in Cumbria for many years. The Waugh Memorial clock, affectionately known as ‘Neddy’, commemorated local MP Edward Waugh and stood on Main Street from 1893 until it was demolished in 1932 on the grounds that it was a traffic hazard.
