More about this scene
Seen as a ruin, looking east from the beach of Worbarrow Bay, stone-roofed Sea Cottage was the home of generations of the Miller family. Fisherman Joe Miller lived there with cousin Jack Miller and the latter's wife, known as Miggie, when eviction notices were issued in 1943. This was one of a series of propaganda postcards, issued by the campaigning 1943 Committee and Tyneham Action Group which achieved the opening of weekend paths - the Lulworth Range Walks - in 1975.
