More about this scene
The buildings have not changed in fifty years - except that no one can remember the clock tower (built in 1899) not having a top to it! Wilkinson's (right) is now Storrs, and Robbialac paint is no longer available. The white building beyond now houses pizzas and kebabs, accountants, and antiques. The corner stationer's is still just that. The market day is Friday. The whole square is the property of the Duchy of Lancaster, states a notice in the shelter in the middle of the square.
