This School was in Love Lane but has now been pulled down and houses have been built on the site, this has only been done in the last 4 years or so. My brother Andy Brown went to this school before going up to the bigger one, the school then became part of the Thurrock Tec in the 1980's.

It is all bustle at the Market in this picture of the large Thames-side town, properly called Grays Thurrock.
An evocative view of old Corringham, down on the flat land close to the Thames and now a close neighbour to the estates of Thurrock and the Thames-side oil storage depots.
It is remarkable that it still survives, albeit moved a hundred yards west to the other side of the Thurrock Yacht Club, where it continues to moulder gently on the beach.
Bluewater in Kent and Thurrock's Lakeside complex are the most notable, but some have developed locally within Basildon itself, such as Pipps Hill (B438707k) and Mayflower Retail Park.
