More about this scene
The church was mainly rebuilt in the 15th century; for example, money was left for the north aisle in 1459. Inside is a family tree of the Eden family of Ballingdon Hall. To the right is the 18th-century red brick vicarage with its 19th-century porch. This was the home of the Rev Samuel Crossman, the hymn writer who was vicar of All Saints' from 1647 to 1665. He is best known for his hymns 'My song is love unknown' and 'Jerusalem on High'.
