A Memory of Stubbington.
Hi Chris, How wonderful to hear from you after all these years, I had a lot of happy memories of Stubbington, but not so much of Hurn Court which I couldn't leave fast enough, there was a lot of bullying at that school, but it was a magnificent building nevertheless. I went to work in Hardy Bros in Pall Mall which sold extremely expensive fishing tackle to the great and the good, and then moved down to E Sussex where I joined the Land Registry, from there I moved again to Devon in another LR position and retired from there in 2007 when I reached 60 (one of the Civil Service perks!) and currently live in Tavistock. Where to you live now, I can remember visiting your lovely house where we cut loose with our air rifles in the garden, happy days indeed. Do keep in touch, Paul
