More about this scene
Designed by Thomas Robinson and completed in 1887, the red-brick town hall deserves a more spacious and prominent setting than Market Street. In the 1980s it was cleaned and renovated and partially incorporated within the Crown Centre shopping complex. Access to the town hall is from the shopping centre, which was built onto the rear of it.
