More about this scene
This view looks east from the pier: excursion sailing boats are waiting for trade. Several of the mid and later 19th-century stucco terrace buildings remain, interspersed with garish work like the Electric Avenue 1990s revamp. Further east is The Kursaal of 1902 with a big dome. The foreground is now the east part of Peter Pan's Adventure Island amusement park.
