More about this scene
We are looking along the gently curving road towards Hythe. On the left are two small shops owned by Mr Bushell and Mr Ruddock and, in the distance, the Seaview Hotel. New terraces have been built to accommodate the large numbers of tourists who were flocking to enjoy the delights of a seaside holiday on the Channel coast.
