Reading, King Alfred Training Brig 1910

More about this scene
The sea cadets parade proudly at their headquarters east of Kings Meadow on the south bank of the Thames. Moored at the bank is their two-masted training brig, and beyond are the river-front houses of Lower Caversham. One wonders how many of these lads went on to serve in the Royal Navy in World War I.
