Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Wednesday 18th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Wednesday 18th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Thursday 2nd January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Our first house we lived in after moving from Kettering to Wales back in the 90's. Apparently it was the overseers house from the building of the dam at Lake Vyrnwy, being a timber framed sectional building it was transported after completion of the dam to Penybontfawr. It was bought by a local builder, and dismantling took place, a spark from a chainsaw caused it to burn to the ground. Two new modern houses now sit on the grounds, one still bearing the name Bron-Y-De.
Born at Peniarth Isaf, attended primary school where the first headmaster was Mr. E.L.Jones, followed by Mr. Bamborough. Local life was centered around Bethania Chapel and events at the Village Hall. In those days, the 2 shops were owned by Mr. Llew Roberts and Mr. G.J. Owen. The Railway Inn was run by the Astley family.
