A Memory of New Addington.

I went to Fairchild school around 1953 and left in 1956. I remember Mr Hedges, Mr Fuller, Mr Morgan. Friends were Carol Strickland, Angela Stevens (married Les Jarvis) Julie Cook. I wonder we're they all are now. I went to Pitmans evening classes in Croydon when I started work for Commercial Union Ins. After a short spell worked in London. I have lived in Bognor Regis for many years, now live in Lincolnshire

Also went to Fairchild Sec Mod, remember all those teachers. I don’t think they actually liked me very much, got expelled in the end. I was a bad boy in them days, got out of Addington turned my life around and eventually came to Australia, now live in Brisbane. Life has been good to me in Aus, now own a lovely home, have travelled the world, but not the UK. Glad I left.
