Does Anyone Remember Kango Electirc Hammers Ltd In Sw19

A Memory of Morden.

My father worked for a company called Kango Electric Hammers LTD after leaving school (in 1962) as a Lathe Operator. I believe he worked for them straight from school so we are looking at late 1962 - late 1964 as he went into the army in September '64.
They were based at Lombard Road Trading Estate, Lombard Road, Mordon (or maybe South Wimbledon), SW19.
Does anyone remember the company or worked for them during this time? I am looking for any information I can find on them as they do not seem to appear anymore and I have spent many hours on the internet trying to find them without any joy.
I look forward to hearing from anyone with any stories

I worked in the maintenance dept at Kango for a few years late seventies early eighties.
Hello I worked for kango around that time my name is Brian Jenkins my brothers worked also there Bill was the boss of the repair shop and John was in reception. I now live in Gerrmany but have fond memories of Kango.

In the 70's i ran all the electrical maintenance/repairs and installation at Rutter Templair Tools which became Kango electric hammers, but that was in Canley in Coventry, they were still in operation when i left in 1980...... if that helps, rgds John.
I don't know if you are still interest. I was an apprentice from 1966 to 1971 and jurying that time I knew everything there is to know about everything. I know the Jenkins brothers, people like them were kangos like the death man that ran in the hammers on the test bed and the assembly manager and his wife who lived and breathed the company. I have so many stories to tell I wouldn't know where to start...
I worked for Kango from 1973 until they were purchased by Atlas Copco
I work in the East Kilbride depot Scotland and in the summer when they had a Factory shutdown i had to work in the factory with the two engineers from London and Birmingham to build machines in the factory for emergency orders. Some names I remember, Bob Riddle ,John Morley , Alf Richie, Bob Walsh and a load more . Great company at the time and some great people .John Morley was the big boss and at 16 I had the pleasure of sorting a bracket onto his Ferrari and washing the car for him.
I still have the two coins from 1977 that every member of staff were given for the Silver Jubilee.
Here is a video of a restoration of a Kanga Model E jackhammer that might be of interest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3P8IRu2-tBU&frags=pl%2Cwn
I'm trying to do a little historical research on Wolf and Kango tools, so can anyone give me approximate dates for the Wolf and Kango merger? (I have "early 1980s, but I'd like something more definite) In fact, was it a merger? When did Kango-Wolf move to Peterborough? And when did Peterborough close, and all manufacturing go to AEG (Atlas-Copco) at Winnenden in Germany? Did any of the staff go to Germany? I'd love to hear more about the later history
I remember you and your brother Raymond, and big
