Lincoln, High Bridge 1890

More about this scene
In 1890 the timber-framed buildings on the west side of High Bridge were in a highly decayed state, as seen in this 1890 view. Picturesque but tottering, in 1900 they were partly rebuilt and restored by William Watkins. The buildings to left and right in this view have also gone.
