More about this scene

The small village of Leeds is dominated by the presence of its large romantic castle. The Castle is Norman, but there was an earlier Saxon castle on the site. The Castle remained a royal palace for centuries afterwards. It eventually became a private residence, and was left to the nation in 1974. Since then it has become a full blooded tourist attraction, set in its 500 acre park. This view shows the Courtyard and the main entrance to the Castle.
