Henley On Thames, Hart Street 1893

More about this scene
The photographer walked away from the river bridge up Hart Street towards the Town Hall in Market Place and turned back by the Bell Street junction to take this view towards the church with its dominating earlier 16th-century tower. All the buildings survive today, except for a tall half-timbered Barclays Bank of 1910 inserted on the right hand side.
