Grimsby, Old Market Place 1964

More about this scene
The car park has gone, and many of the buildings have also disappeared. The Tivoli Tavern can be seen to the left, but Albert Gait has been replaced by the Alliance and Leicester (the gabled building, centre left), and Citi Financial is installed in Pinbox House (centre). The Pestle and Mortar pub next door is closed, and all the buildings on the left have been demolished. It is another case of 'Oh dear, oh dear!' However, the largest shopping mall in Lincolnshire is nearby, and so is the very useful-looking large indoor market.
