More about this scene
The nave with its timbered ceiling was completed in 1480. At a later date it was divided into three congregations, the nave, choir and crypt. In this picture from 1897, we can see the screen separating the nave and choir. During the nineteenth century the windows throughout the church were filled with stained glass, most of it from Munich at a cost close to £100,000.
