Falmouth, Cowlands Creek, River Fal 1912

More about this scene
This tranquil creek, three miles south of Truro, is one of many on the River Fal. Here two girls are enjoying the sunlight. Behind is a typical ramshackle scene: a heap of firewood, a tumbling-down boarded building advertising 'good stabling' to visiting riders, and a trio of beached row-boats for hire.
