More about this scene
The beach was the centre of fun and frivolity. The flags are flying and a throng of holidaymakers waits to board a fleet of row boats for a trip along the coast. Though Cromer crabs were famous and plentiful, the Cromer fishermen welcomed the opportunity to make a few extra shillings from the summer trade with their boats.
