Peter Pan Pools And The Swimming Baths Bellingham
A Memory of Catford.
Living in Lewisham in what was Engate Street in the late 1950's Peter Pans Pool was to us like a holiday Park and I spent a lot of time there as a child even when we moved to Sydenham in 1960's. Such wonderful memories taking the boats out on the pools it was our fathers treat. Having immigrated to New Zealand we returned home to live in Barnmead Road Catford so I took my own children to Peter Pan's Pool and have fond memories of them there along with mine. Now after many years living back in New Zealand your photographs take me back to home to a childhood haunt never forgotten. My father was bought up in Bellingham and of course as a child my name was then Rosemary Owen.
