More about this scene
Wilfred Pickles used to tell a story about a mother and her son at a guest house. He had a broad accent, which embarrassed his mum. The little lad opened his mouth, but his mother guessed what he wanted and whispered 'Go upstairs, love. You know where it is'. A few seconds later there was a loud 'Mum!' from upstairs. 'I can see t'Tower while I'm on t'closet!'
