More about this scene
This view is taken from the west, near the north-east corner of the Green, at the foot of Angel Hill. The fine west tower of All Saints dominates the scene. The chancel east window was blown out by bomb blasts in 1944, and the vicarage severely damaged. The Victorian school also suffered a direct hit and was totally destroyed, but nothing in this view was affected.
