Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Wednesday 18th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Wednesday 18th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Thursday 2nd January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

I went to this school between 1968-1970 The Headmistress at that time was Mrs Hargreaves and the teacher that sticks out in my memory most is Miss Evans. My mum was the lollipop lady outside the school from 1968 until 1978 I think. Lovely school.
Cotterals Bike Shop is on the right. Mum bought bikes for all the family and herself here. Mr Cotteral would sell you a brand new bike on "Tick" if he new you or your family. Great guy. Mum would have a cuppa and a chin wag with him when we called in to pay. Thatched cottage further up on the right . Fawcetts the chemist on the left Tappleys the stationers the last shop on the top of the hill on the left. school Dentist was across the road from it . Shock horror
when i was a child in the early 50,s we lived in a ally beside this bike shop, called homefarm, i can remember getting lost in this road and ended up in a beautiful garden with loads of statues.
I was born in Birkenhead and moved with mum and dad to Northern Ireland when I was about 6. My mum and dad's family lived in Birkenhead, Bebington and Bromborough. I was at my Nana's in Birkenhead and later Bebington for summer holidays. Once she, my Auntie Barbara, Uncle Eric and cousin Anne moved to Bebington I was able to run down to Eric and Marjorie's shop. It was a tobacconists. I know ...see more
