A Memory of Amersham.

Hi

I have lived in Amersham and Chesham Bois for the past 30 years and love the rich history of these places. I collect old postcards of this area and the Missendens, and I also research interesting people who have lived and worked here. I am particularly keen to hear memories of Chesham Bois in the first half of the 20th century, the Colenso family who lived in Elangeni House (on the site where the school now stands) - and of the artists and writers who lived here - William Monk, Elias Canetti, Carl Fallas, Marie Louise Von Motesiczky and many more.
